Hello!

My name is Lila Donahue. I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. I graduated from Kent State University in 2024 with a B.A. in Sociology. I have worked in various of mediums including song, visual arts, and multidisciplinary creative pursuits.  I have been songwriting faithfully for 13 years and have been performing regularly in diverse for 10 years. I began exploring visual arts as an additional creative outlet 8 years ago after a lifetime of telling myself “I am not an artist.” While attending Kent State I had the incredible privilege to interview an aging adult and make representative art based on their life story, merging Sociology and the Arts. In all areas of creative expression, I enjoy exploring what it means to be a human having a one-of-a-kind story.
